The engagement
Four phases.
Four sign-offs.
Every phase ends in something you can hold and approve: a plan, a creative direction, a working system, a number. You always know what’s been built and what it’s producing.
How an engagement runs
One plan, built and run to one standard.
-
01
Diagnostic
We learn your market before we touch it, so the plan starts from what’s true.
- What ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Google say about you today
- Your website and landing pages: what buyers see, and where they leave
- How leads are tracked now, and where the trail goes cold
- Who’s really on the buying committee, and which territories matter
- The claims you’re making in market, and how they hold up
Sign-off
The diagnostic report: a clear read of your market, your buyers, your site, and your tracking.
-
02
Architecture
The strategy and the standard, written down before anything is built.
- Exactly who we’re targeting, by segment and territory
- The channel plan and budget
- Creative direction: the look, the voice, and the standard every asset is held to
- The content position and editorial line
- The tracking model, and your baselines and targets in writing
Sign-off
The strategy document, agreed before a dollar of media runs.
-
03
Build
Everything your buyers will see, and everything underneath it.
- Landing pages and the full web experience, designed and built
- Forms that capture each lead and route it to the right rep
- Campaigns built and creative approved
- Sequences written and loaded, sending domains warmed
- Tracking live and tested, dashboard reconciled to your CRM
Sign-off
A working system, documented, in accounts you own.
-
04
Operate
Ongoing
- Weekly execution and monitoring
- Monthly report: sales-qualified leads and cost per lead
- Quarterly review of marketing-sourced pipeline, and a re-plan
- Continuous testing of pages, lists, and sequences
- Content and AI-search publishing on a steady schedule
Sign-off
Monthly on sales-qualified leads. Quarterly on marketing-sourced pipeline.
The whole system is live inside the first 90 days.
One partner. One system. One goal.
The trajectory
Build the engine.
Then let it compound.
What the first year looks like when the measurement is built before the campaigns. The shape is the point; the numbers are illustrative.
The flat part
Infrastructure first.
The line is flat at first because the work is underneath it: the strategy, the site, the tracking, the campaigns. We say so before the contract, not at the first quarterly review.
The compounding part
An engine gets stronger every quarter.
Content, audiences, pages, and tracking history all build on each other. Month twelve starts where month eleven left off.
Marketing-sourced pipeline
-
First 90 days
Plan and build
Learn the market, set the strategy and the standard, then build the site, campaigns, and tracking.
-
Months 4 to 7
Operate: find what works
Lead volume steadies. The first reliable cost per lead.
-
Months 8 to 12
Operate: dial in and compound
The system is worth more each quarter than it cost to build.
Illustrative trajectory, not a forecast. Real pace depends on your category, sales capacity, and what’s already in place. Your baselines and targets are set in writing during Architecture, before any media runs.
Proof
The system works.
Here’s the proof.
A respiratory medical device maker went from $400K to $5M in marketing-sourced pipeline in three years, with two sales reps. Nothing was torn down and rebuilt each quarter. The same system kept getting stronger.

Questions
What buyers ask us.
What do you mean by taste?
The judgment that makes a company look and sound like the best in its category. It shows in the details: a page that says one thing clearly, an ad with room to breathe, photography that doesn’t look like stock, a sales sheet a buyer actually keeps. Luxury brands have always worked this way. Almost nobody in B2B does, which is why it gets noticed.
What is a sign-off, exactly?
A deliverable you approve before the next phase starts: the diagnostic report, the strategy document, the working system, then the monthly and quarterly reporting. Each one is something real you keep. You’re never months into work you haven’t seen.
Why don’t campaigns launch on day one?
Because launching first is how spend becomes untraceable. Until tracking is live and the pages buyers land on are ready, every dollar of media produces numbers nobody can defend later. We build the measurement and the web experience first, so the campaigns have somewhere good to send people and somewhere honest to report to.
Do you build the website and landing pages?
Yes. We review your site and landing pages in the Diagnostic, then design and build what the campaigns need: landing pages, the full web experience, and the forms that capture each lead and send it to the right person. Same standard as the ads, in accounts you own.
Do we own what gets built?
Yes, all of it, in your own accounts: ad accounts, CRM, tracking, website, domains, sequences, dashboards. If the engagement ends, the system stays with you and keeps running. Nothing is held in an agency account.
What do you report on?
Monthly: sales-qualified leads (leads your sales team agrees are worth a call) and cost per lead. Quarterly: marketing-sourced pipeline, the dollar value of deals marketing started. Impressions and page views stay off the report. Your baselines and targets are written down during Architecture, before any media runs, so nobody can move the goalposts afterward.
